Overview

Options are powerful customizing features that allow you to choose exactly how you want many of the fields and options in SBN to work. SBN uses two categories of options:

  • Conditional options - must be set to On or Off.

  • Value options - apply limits based on the value entered, such as a number of days or an amount of money. The first column of the Options Table identifies the type of option: v (value), or c (conditional).

Both conditional and value options may occur in either:

  • Static options - must be set by IBS. You may ask IBS to change a setting for your company at any time.

  • Dynamic options - which you can set.

Note: Dynamic options will display a + in the Dynamic column of the Options table and in the Options (program #1887).

Dynamic options contain a sublevel tab in which can you attach dealer IDs or translations:

  • In conditional dynamic options you may attach dealer IDs.

  • In value dynamic options you may attach both Dealer IDs and translations. SBN will display translations in the language defined in the user’s profile.

You can view the options settings for your company and add translations to options that meet the translation parameters by choosing Options (program #1887) from the SBN main menu.

This document lists all available options in alphabetical order by the option name. IBS has retired some older options. Retired options appear in blue text.
