Accounts to Receive Reminders Report

Overview

The Accounts to Receive Reminders Report lists all accounts, for specified branches, that should receive reminders.

To access this report, from Reminder Calculation (program #1570), choose Run Reports and select Report 1170, or choose Accounts to Receive Reminders (report #1170) from the main menu of SBN.

The Accounts to Receive Reminders Report

This window contains two panes: use the upper pane to define the contents of the report; use the lower pane to define the job output — how, when, and where you want to print the report.

Note: See Report Parameters Pane for information on the fields in the lower pane, which are the same in every report.

Field Descriptions

The following table describes the fields used in the upper pane of this report.

Field

Description

Group by

You must select a grouping parameter for this report:

l    Branch

l    None

O    This field defaults to None.

Use Branch From

You must select a type of branches to limit the report to accounts associated with that type of branch:

l    Accounts

l    Installations

O    If you charge late fees on past due amounts, you must select Accounts to report these fees.

Dealer

You may select a dealer ID to limit the report to accounts associated with that dealer. (This menu originates from program #1537.)

O    If your company uses Dealer restrictions, the menu displays only those dealer IDs included in your user profile.

O    If you leave this field blank, the report includes accounts for all dealers.

Branch Ranges

Branch

You may select up to three ranges of branches to limit the report to branches within the ranges. Select the beginning branch number of a range. (These menus originate from program #1530.)

O    The first branch range defaults to the user’s branch profile.

O    If you leave these fields blank, the report includes all Accounts branches.

Branch

You may select up to three ranges of branches to limit the report to branches within the ranges. Select the ending branch number of a range. (These menus originate from program #1530.)

O    If you leave these fields blank, the report includes all Accounts branches.

Exclude

You may exclude ranges of branches from the report by selecting the ranges and then entering a check mark in the corresponding Exclude box.

Report Example

If option crbyacg is off, SBN may create multiple reminders for one account in a single Reminder Batch. Therefore, an account may appear multiple times in the output of this report.

The following graphic shows an example of the output of the Accounts to Receive Reminders report.

Column Descriptions

The following table describes the columns used in the output of the report.

Column

Description

Dealer

If you selected a Dealer, this field displays the ID of the dealer associated with the displayed accounts.

Account

Account number.

O    The output displays the account name and number for each reminder group within the account.

Name

Account name.

O    The output displays the account name and number for each reminder group within the account.

New

Displays the next reminder group for the selected account as defined in Reminder Profiles (program #1562.)

Old

Displays the previous reminder group for the selected account.

Balance

Open balance for the selected account.

Branch

If you selected Branch as the Group by parameter, this column displays the Branch ID associated with the selected account.

Branch Total

If you selected Branch as the Group by parameter, this column displays the total of accounts to receive reminders for the branch.

Grand Total

If you selected None as the Group by parameter, this column displays the grand total of all accounts to receive reminders.
