Overview
Use Business Units (program #1600) to define business unit types for installations in Data Entry (program #559) and contracts in Contract Master (program #548).
Navigating to Business Units
Use the following steps to access the Business Units program:
1. From the main SBN toolbar, select Menu.
2. From the drop-down menu, select Go To.
3. In the Go To Program dialog box, type in "1600" and press ENTER.
w The Business Units window opens.

Creating a Business Unit Type
Use the following steps to create a business unit type:
1. Choose New Record.
w The fields in the lower pane open for changes.
2. Enter details for the business unit.
3. Choose Save.
w The new business unit type appears in the list in the upper pane.
Changing a Business Unit Type
You can change the details of an existing business unit type.
Use the following steps to change a business unit type:
1. From the upper pane, select the business unit you want to change by double-clicking or choosing Get Record.
w The business unit details appear in the lower pane.
2. Choose Change Record.
w The fields in the lower pane open for changes.
3. Change business unit details as necessary.
4. Choose Save.
Deleting a Business Unit Type
Use the following steps to delete a business unit type:
1. Select the business unit you want to delete.
2. Choose Delete Record.
w The business unit type no longer appears in the list of types.
Restoring a Deleted Business Unit Type
Use the following steps to restore deleted business unit types:
1. Choose Select Record to Undelete.
w The Undelete window appears.
2. In the Undelete window, find the business unit you want to restore and double-click it, or choose [ENTER].
w SBN restores the business unit type to the list in the upper pane.
