Overview
Use Immqueue Config (program #1661) to display and control the number of signals that are inserted into the immediate queue.
Navigating to Immqueue Config
Use the following steps to access the Immqueue Config program:
1. From the main SBN toolbar, select Menu.
2. From the drop-down menu, select Go To.
3. In the Go To Program dialog box, type "1661" and then press ENTER.
w The Immqueue Config window opens.

Field/Column Descriptions
The following table describes the fields and columns used in the Immediate Queue window:

Immediate Queue No |
Number of the immediate queue. |

Direct Injection |
When this check box is selected, SBN inserts the incoming signal into the immediate queue. When this check box is not selected, SBN does not insert the incoming signal into the immediate queue. |

Maximum Alarms |
Maximum number of signals that the immediate queue can hold. |
|
Description |
Allows you to enter a description for the new immediate queue. |
Creating an Immediate Queue
Use the following steps to create a new immediate queue:
1. Choose New Record.
w The fields in the lower pane open.
2. Type a number in the Immediate Queue field.
3. (Optional) Select the Direct Injection check box if you want incoming signals to be inserted into the immediate queue.
4. Type a number in the Maximum Alarms field.
5. Type a description of the immediate queue in the Description field.
6. Choose Save.
w The new immediate queue appears in the list in the upper pane.
Changing an Immediate Queue
You can change the details of an existing immediate queue.
Use the following steps to change an immediate queue:
1. From the upper pane, select the immediate queue you want to change by double-clicking or choosing Get.
w SBN displays the immediate queue fields in the lower pane.
2. Choose Change.
w The Direct Injection, Maximum Alarms and the Description fields open for changes.
3. Change the information in the fields as needed.
4. Choose Save.
Deleting an Immediate Queue
Use the following steps to delete an immediate queue:
1. Select the immediate queue you want to delete.
2. Choose Delete.
w A confirmation message appears.
3. Choose Yes.
w The immediate queue no longer appears in the list of queues.
