Log Search

Log Search

Log Search is a web page on the SBN Media SIP service for looking up the SIP messages and log lines of a call. A search is limited to the records of your own dealer. The page is served on port 8081 of the SIP service hostname, at https://<sip-service-hostname>:8081/log-search/.

Accounts

Innovative creates the accounts. Each account belongs to one dealer and sees only that dealer's records. Support accounts that cover several dealers get a Tenant list above the search fields to choose the dealer.

Setting

Value

Session length

Up to 12 hours from sign-in. After that the page asks you to sign in again.

Failed sign-ins

Five wrong passwords in a row lock the account for 15 minutes.

One-time codes

Optional per account. When enabled, sign-in asks for the 6-digit code from an authenticator app after the password.

To get an account, reset a password or remove a user, contact Innovative support.

Searching

Search by

Value to enter

Alarm account

The alarm account number.

Device (SIP account)

The SIP account of the unit.

Transaction ID

The tranID of the call, as carried in the SafeLine status callbacks.

SIP Call-ID

The Call-ID header of any SIP leg of the call.

From (UTC) and To (UTC) set the time window, in UTC, as YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM. The buttons 15 min, 1 h, 24 h and 72 h fill in a window ending now. A single search covers at most 72 hours.

Recent calls lists the calls in the window with start and end time, alarm account, device, the two parties and the message count. Search this call on a row opens that call's records.

Results

Tab

Content

SIP messages

Every SIP request and response of the call: time, direction, transport (UDP, TCP or TLS), source and destination, method or status, and the two parties. Show the raw message opens the full message.

Log lines

The SBN Media log lines of the call: time, service, level, message and the structured fields.

Load more fetches the next page. When a window holds more calls than one result can carry, the page says the results were truncated; narrow the window to see the rest.

Download pcap saves a packet capture of the call when one was recorded.

Retention

Records are kept for 7 days. Searches can reach back to the start of that period and no further.
