Overview

Use Manufacturers (program #1538) to define manufacturers. A menu of Manufacturers appears in Items (program #1535).

Use the following steps to navigate to Manufacturers:

1. From the main SBN toolbar, select Menu.

2. From the drop-down menu, select Go To [ALT+F1].

3. In the Go To Program dialog box, type in "1538."

w The Manufacturers program opens.

The following graphic shows Manufacturers as the program opens. The upper pane displays previously defined manufacturers.

The following table describes the fields and columns used in Manufacturers.

Field/Column	Description
Manufacturer	Abbreviation that identifies the selected manufacturer.
Name	Name of the selected manufacturer.
Street	Street address of the selected manufacturer.
Street 2 (No label)	Additional street information, if applicable, of the selected manufacturer.
Zip	Zip code of the selected manufacturer.
State	State of the selected manufacturer. (This field holds a maximum of 60 characters.)
Country	Select the country in which the manufacturer is located from the drop-down menu.
City	City of the selected manufacturer.
Phone	Phone number at the selected manufacturer.
Fax	Fax number at the selected manufacturer.
Contact Name	Name of the contact person for the selected manufacturer.
Contact Phone	Primary phone number of the contact.
Contact Phone 2 (No label)	Secondary phone number of the contact.
Comment	Free-form text about the selected manufacturer.
