Aging Using Accounts Report

Overview

Use the Aging Using Accounts report to list all account balances according their aging date and revenue type.

  • If option bl049 is on, this report includes unposted payments in the calculation.

  • If option schpayag is on, this report includes late scheduled payments.

To access this report, select Aging Using Accounts (report #1901) from the main menu of SBN.

The Aging Using Accounts Report

This window contains two panes: use the upper pane to define the contents of the report; use the lower pane to define the job output - how, when, and where you want the report printed.

Note: See Report Parameters Panes for information on the fields in the lower pane, which are the same in every report.

Field Descriptions

The following table describes the fields used in the upper pane of this report.

Note: You can use wildcard characters in selected fields. For more information on using wildcards, see Searches.

Aging Date

SBN calculates the difference between this date and the invoice or due date, depending on the value set in option bl001, to determine the age group in which to place an amount.

O    This field defaults to today’s date.

Group 1/2

You may select a Billing Account Group 1 to limit the report to records with that group assigned in the Billing Accounts tab of program #548, or use the % wildcard to include all records, including those with a blank Billing Account Group 1. Leave this field blank to limit the report to records with a blank Billing Account Group 1. (This menu originates from program #1868.)

You may select a Billing Account Group 2 to limit the report to records with that group assigned in the Billing Accounts tab of program #548, or use the % wildcard to include all records, including those with a blank Billing Account Group 2. Leave this field blank to limit the report to records with a blank Billing Account Group 2. (This menu originates from program #1868.)

Balance Range

O    This field defaults to 0.01.

Days Past Due Range

You may type a range of days past due to limit the report to accounts past due within that range. Type the minimum number of days past due for the range.

O    This field defaults to -32767.

You may type a range of days past due to limit the report to accounts past due within that range. Type the maximum number of days past due for the range.

O    This field defaults to 32767.

Revenue Type

Yes

You may select a revenue type to limit the report to accounts that match that revenue type, or use the % wildcard to include all revenue types. (This menu originates from program #1512.)

O    If the Days Past Due Range includes 0, and the revenue type is %, the report includes credit balances.

Fee Profile

One Time

Enter a check mark in this box to limit this report to accounts that are flagged in Contract Master to print one time fees.

Cycle

No

Enter a check mark in this box to limit the report to accounts that are flagged in Contract Master to print cycle fees.

All

No

Enter a check mark in this box to include accounts that are flagged in Contract Master for either one time or cycle fees.

O    When you select All, the totals of the report may differ from the total of a report run for one time fees plus the total of a report run for cycle fees because some accounts are flagged for both one time and cycle fees.

Include

Enter a check mark in this box to include the account address on the report.

O    If you enter a check mark in this box, you must also enter a check mark in the Details field.

For Collection

Enter a check mark in this box to use this report as a Collection report.

O    If you enter a check mark in this box, the report excludes

l    Accounts with aged amounts greater than the maximum days past due

l    Accounts with aged amounts with any balance (credit or debit).

Enter a check mark in this box include account level details in the report.

O    If you leave this field blank, the report only returns a report total by aging bucket.

Zero Balances

Enter a check mark in this box to include accounts with a zero balance.

O    If you enter a check mark in this box, you must also enter a check mark in the Details field.

Branch Range

You may select up to three ranges of branches to limit the report to branches within the ranges. Select the beginning branch number of the range. (These menus originate from program #1530.)

O    If option rptprof is on, SBN limits report results to those within the user’s branch profile.

You may select up to three ranges of branches to limit the report to branches within the ranges. Select the ending branch number of the range. (These menus originate from program #1530.)

Exclude

You may exclude ranges of branches from the report by entering the ranges of branches and then entering check marks in these fields.

Dealer Range

You may select up to three ranges of dealer IDs to limit the report to dealer IDs within the ranges. Select the beginning dealer ID of a range. (These menus originate from program #1537.)

You may select up to three ranges of dealer IDs to limit the report to dealer IDs within the ranges. Select the beginning dealer ID of a range. (These menus originate from program #1537.)

Exclude

You may exclude ranges of dealer IDs from the report by selecting the ranges of dealer IDs and then entering a check mark in this box.

The following table describes the columns used in the output of the report.

Fee Profile

Identifies the Fee Profile.

Account

In the detailed version of the report, displays the account number.

Name

In the detailed version of the report, this column displays the account name.

Balance

In the detailed version of the report, this column displays the open balance on the report.

(Dynamic labels)

These columns display open balances for each of the user-defined aging categories.

O    This report displays up to 12 aging columns.

Total

These columns display the totals of the opens balances for each of the user-defined aging categories.

Count

Displays the number of accounts included in the report.
