Overview

Use Paging Groups (program #1841) to join employees into groups. You can then use paging groups to send a single paging message to multiple employees.

To access this program, select Paging Groups (program #1841) from the main menu of SBN.

The Paging Groups Window

The following graphic shows Paging Groups as the program opens. The upper pane displays previously defined paging groups.

Field/Column Descriptions

The following table describes the fields and columns used in the main window of Paging Groups.

Field/Column

Description

Group

Abbreviation that identifies the paging group.

Description

Text description of the paging group.

Zooming into the Sublevel of Paging Groups

Paging Groups contains a sublevel in which you add employees and their paging information to a selected group.

The Paging Groups Details Tab

The following graphic shows the Paging Groups Detail tab. The tab displays those employees previously attached to the selected paging group.

Field/Column Descriptions

The following table describes the fields and columns used in the sublevel of Paging Groups.

Field/Column

Description

Employee ID

Identifies the selected employee. (This menu originates from program #1811.)

Pager Number

Pager number of the selected employee.

Pager Type

Displays the type of pager associated with the pager number:

l    N = Numeric pager

l    A = Alphanumeric pager

Branch

Installation Branch with which the selected employee is associated.

Name

Name of the selected employee.
