Overview

Use Import Posting Control (program #1878) to define posting controls for individual dealers.

To access this program, select Import Posting Control (program #1878) from the main menu of SBN.

The following graphic shows Import Posting Control as the program opens. The left pane displays previously defined posting controls.

The following table describes the fields and columns used in Import Posting Control.

Field/Column	Description
Dealer ID	Dealer ID; identifies the dealer to whom the selected import posting controls apply. (This menu originates from program #1537.)
Description	Text description of the selected import posting control.
Variance
Minimum Amount	You may type a minimum variance amount allowed for posting for the selected dealer. You may leave this field blank for no check.
% of Payment	You may type a minimum percentage of payment to allow for posting for the selected dealer. You may leave this field blank for no check.
Maximum Amount	You may type a maximum variance amount allowed for posting for the selected dealer. You may leave this field blank for no check.
% of Payment	You may type a maximum percentage of payment to allow for posting for the selected dealer. You may leave this field blank for no check.
Exclude Variance on Type	You may select transaction types to exclude from the selected variance parameters. (This menu originates from program #1586.)
Contract Status Cancelled	Enter a check mark in this field to post payments to contracts with a status of cancelled.
Account Status Cancelled	Enter a check mark in this field to post payments to accounts with a status of cancelled.
Zero/Negative Account Balance	Enter a check mark in this field to post payments to accounts with a zero or negative balance.
