Overview
The Alarm Distribution report provides the number of alarm signals per 24-hour period for the selected range of dates (event entries in the Alarm Log). User’s branch restrictions apply.
This report sorts signals by Zone type. To access this report, select Alarm Distribution (report #1988) from the main menu of SBN.
The Alarm Distribution Report
This window contains two panes: use the upper pane to define the content of the report; use the lower pane to define the job output - how, when, and where you want to print the report.
Note: See Report Parameters Pane for information on the fields in the lower pane, which are the same in every report.
Field Descriptions
The following table describes the fields in the upper pane of this report.

Date - From |
You must select a range of dates to limit the report to alarm activity that occurred during that range. Select the beginning date of the range. |
Time

You may select a range of time to limit the report to alarm activity that occurred with that range. Select the beginning time for the range. |
Date
- To |
You must select a range of dates to limit the report to alarm activity that occurred during that range. Select the ending date of the range. |
Time
- To |
You may select a range of time to limit the report to alarm activity that occurred with that range. Select the ending time for the range. |
Inst Br |
You may select an installation branch to limit the report to records associated with that branch. O If you leave this field blank, SBN reports on all branches within your user profile. |
Dealer |
You may select a dealer ID to limit the report to records associated with that dealer ID. |
Include Open / Close |
Enter a check mark in this box to include open / close signals in the report. |
Include Log-Only Signals |
Enter a check mark in this box to include log-only signals in the report. |

Column Descriptions
The following table describes the columns used in the output of the report.

Date |
Displays the date the alarm activity occurs. |
01 - 24 (Hour) |
These column headers identify each hour of the day. |
Zone Type |
Each zone type appears in the left column, with associated signals in the appropriate hour column. |
Total for Zone Type |
The total number of signals received on the zone type for the 24-hour period displays at the right end of each zone type row. |
Total for Hour |
The total number of signals for all zone types during the selected hour. |
Total for Date |
The total number of signals for all zone types for all hours of the day. |
Report Alarm Totals |
The total number of signals for all dates within the selected range. |
