Overview

Use Invoice Fee Profiles (program #1619) to define customer profiles for fees you charge for providing a paper invoice. You may create profiles for invoice fees for one-time fees, cycle fees, or both. Use the Fee Profile field in the Billing Information pane or Contract Information pane of the Contract Master (program #548) to attach an invoice fee profile to a billing account or to a contract.

Invoice fees print as a line on every invoice created for a customer who has an invoice fee profile selected in the Billing Information pane or Contract Details panes of Contract Master. In Items (program #1535), create an invoice fee item in which you define the text that appears on the invoice. Then in this program, associate that item with an invoice fee profile.

You may also associate a revenue type with an invoice fee profile.

Note: If a contract has an invoice fee profile selected in both the Billing Information and the Contract Information panes of the Contract Master (but the fees are different) invoicing uses the larger of the two fees. If the fees are the same, invoicing uses only one fee.

To access this program, select Invoice Fee Profiles (program #1619) from the main menu of SBN.
