Overview

Payroll Hour Groups (program #1850) allows you to define hours types within hours groups.

To access this program, select Payroll Hour Groups (program #1850) from the main menu of SBN.

The Payroll Hour Groups Window

The following graphic shows Payroll Hour Groups as you enter the program. The upper pane displays all previously defined payroll hour groups.

Field/Column Descriptions

The following table describes the fields and columns used in the main window of Payroll Hour Groups.

Field/Column

Description

Type

Identifies the personnel type. (This menu originates from program #1811.)

Group

Identifies the group within certain personnel types.

Index

Identifies the indexed placement of the payroll hour group.

O    Personnel groups who work most frequently (installer, salesperson, technician, manager, telemarketer) should have a low index number, while those groups who work less frequently should have a higher index number.

Rate

Identifies the rate attached to the Pay Profile details of the group within certain personnel types.

Flags 1 - 10

Customer-defined flags to initiate actions.

Description

Text description of the Group abbreviation.

Zooming into the Sublevel of Payroll Hour Groups

Payroll Hour Groups contains a sublevel in which you can define and view groups within a profile of a Payroll Hour Group.

The Types Tab

The following graphic shows the Types tab. The tab displays previously defined groups within the selected Payroll Hour Group.
