Overview

The Open/Close report displays all open / close activity for a specified period. User’s branch and dealer restrictions apply. The report includes opens and closes that occurred within scheduled windows and those that created exceptions.

To access this report, select Open/Close Report (report #2047) from the main menu of SBN.

The Open/Close Report

This window contains two panes: use the upper pane to define the content of the report; use the lower pane to define the job output - how, when, and where you want to print the report.

Note: See Report Parameters Pane for information on the fields in the lower pane, which are the same in every report.

Field Descriptions

The following table describes the fields used in the upper pane of the report.

Note: You can use wildcard characters in selected fields. For more information about using wildcards, see Searches.

Date - From

You may select a range of dates to limit the report to open / close activity that occurred during that range. Select the beginning date of the range.

O    This field defaults to the current date.

Time - From

You may select a range of time to limit the report to open / close activity that occurred during that range. Select the beginning time of the range.

Date - To
(No label)

No

You may select a range of dates to limit the report to open / close activity that occurred during that range. Select the ending date of the range.

O    This field defaults to tomorrow’s date.

Time - To

You may select a range of time to limit the report to open / close activity that occurred during that range. Select the ending time of the range.

CID

Yes

You must either type a specific CID to limit the report to open / close activity for that CID or use the % wildcard to include all CIDs in the report.

Branch Range

Branch - From

Yes

You must select a range of branches to limit the report to open / close activity for installations associated with branches within the range or use the % wildcard to include all branches. Select the beginning branch of the range. (This menu originates from program #1530.)

Branch - To
(No label)

Yes

You must select a range of branches to limit the report to open / close activity for installations associated with branches within the range or use the % wildcard to include all branches. Select the ending branch of the range. (This menu originates from program #1530.)

Exclude

No

You may exclude a range of branches from the report by selecting the range and then entering a check mark in this box.

Report Flag

No

You may type a report flag to limit the report to records with that report flag.

Mail Group 1

No

You may type a Mail Group 1 flag to limit the report to records that match Mail Group 1.

Mail Group 2

No

You may type a Mail Group 2 flag to limit the report to records that match Mail Group 2.

Report Example

The following graphic shows an example of the output of the Open/Close report.

Column Descriptions

The following table describes the columns used in the output of the report.

Report Period

Displays the period covered by the report.

CID

CID. Page breaks on CID.

Site Address

Displays the name and address for the installation.

Mailing Address

Displays the address from the upper pane of the Mail Address dialog box in Data Entry.

Displays the date and day of the week the following events occurred.

Time

Displays the time of the open / close event.

Event

Displays the event type.

Detail

Displays the user number, if available or if O / C Names if flagged, displays the name of the user.

Comments

Displays the event extension text for the event type.

Displays a series of XXXXXXXXXX if event created an exception.
