Overview

Use Finance Types (program #1822) to define revenue types for installment billing of work orders. For each finance type, you can define a text line to print on an installment invoice and define a line of text that identifies a deferred amount.

To access this program, select Finance Types (program #1822) from the main menu of SBN.

The Finance Types Window

The following graphic shows Finance Types as the program opens. The upper pane displays previously defined finance types.

Field/Column Descriptions

The following table describes the fields and columns used in Finance Types.

Field/Column	Description
Abbreviation	Identifies the finance type.
Description	Text description of selected finance type.
Installment Revenue Type	Select the revenue type that should apply to the installment. (This menu originates from program #1512.)
Interest Revenue Type	Select the revenue type that should apply to the interest charge. (This menu originates from program #1512.)
Debit	Free-form text that appears on the installment invoice.
Credit	Free-form text that identifies the deferred portion of the work order.
