Credit Score Service
Overview
The Credit Score Service requests a consumer credit report from an external credit-reporting agency and returns the resulting credit score to SBN. On a fixed timer it checks an internal credit-check queue; when a new request is waiting, it reads the applicant details (name, date of birth, address) entered in SBN, submits the inquiry to the agency, and writes the score (or an error code) back against the originating quote so it is available on the operator screens.
Each queued request is routed to the correct agency market based on the applicant's country — one path for Canadian inquiries and one for United States inquiries — each with its own agency login. Requests can be sent against the agency's test endpoint or its live (production) endpoint.
The service requires a working SBN data-server connection; if the connection cannot be established at start-up, the service logs the reason and stops. When an applicant e-mail address is supplied with a request, the service can send a notification summarising the result of the inquiry.

Service Properties
Only properties specific to this service are listed here. Common service properties (SBN Server connection, Logging, SMTP) are found here.
Queue Timer (In Seconds)
How often the service checks the credit-check queue for new requests. The service waits this many seconds between cycles, then processes the next queued inquiry if one is waiting.
Error Account (CID)
The SBN account (CID) used for supervision of the service. Each cycle the service updates this account; if it stops updating, the account can raise a missing-test alarm in SBN so operators are notified that the service is no longer running. Leave blank to disable.
