Fiscal Aging by Contract Report

Overview

Use the Fiscal Aging by Contract report to list aged contracts by

  • Invoice date

  • Due date

You may run this report for either the current fiscal period or a previous fiscal period.

User’s branch and dealer restrictions apply.

Note: This report will not work when option bl196 is off. When bl196 is off, SBN does not update fiscal control tables when a fiscal period is closed.

To access this report, select Fiscal Aging by Contract (report #2122) from the main menu of SBN.

The Fiscal Aging by Contract Report

This window contains two panes: use the upper pane to define the contents of the report; use the lower pane to define the job output - how, when, and where you want the report printed.

Note: See Report Parameters Pane for information on the fields in the lower pane, which are the same in every report.

Field Descriptions

The following table describes the fields used in the upper pane of this report.

You can use wildcard characters in selected fields. For more information on using wildcards, see Searches.

Fiscal Date

You must select a fiscal date. Select the first day of the month on which you want to report.

O    This field defaults to the current month.

Use Invoice Date

No

Enter a check mark in this box to use the invoice date to determine the aging category for an invoice.

O    This field defaults to a check mark.

Use Past Due Date

No

Enter a check mark in this box to use the past due date to determine the aging category for an invoice.

Group by

No

You must select a grouping parameter for this report:

l    Branch

l    Dealer

l    None

Use Branch From

No

You must select a type of branch on which to report:

l    Contract

l    Installation

Balance Range

Balance minimum
(No label)

No

You may type a range of balances to limit the report to contracts with an account balance within that rang. Type the minimum balance of the range.

Balance maximum

No

You may type a range of balances to limit the report to contracts with an account balance within that range. Type the maximum account balance of the range.

Days Past Due Range

Minimum Days Past Due (No label)

No

You may type a range of days past due to limit the report to contracts past due within that range. Type the minimum number of days past due of the range.

Maximum Days Past Due (No label)

No

You may type a range of days past due to limit the report to contracts past due within that range. Type the maximum number of days past due of the range.

Mask

You must either select a Contract Basics Group 1 to limit the report to accounts associated with that group, or use the % wildcard to include all Contract Basics Group 1 groups. (This menu originates from program #1868.)

Ctr Group 2

Yes

You must either select a Contract Basics Group 2 to limit the report to accounts associated with that group, or use the % wildcard to include all Contract Basics Group 2 groups. (This menu originates from program #1868.)

Revenue Type

Yes

You must either select a revenue type to limit the report to accounts associated with that revenue type, or use the % wildcard to include all revenue types.

Enter a check mark in this box to include open credits in the report.

Zero Balances

No

Enter a check mark in this box to include zero balances in the report.

Details

No

Enter a check mark in this box to include account details in the report.

Contract Name

Enter a check mark in this box to include contract names in the report.

Branch Ranges

Branch

You may select up to three ranges of branches to limit the report to branches within the ranges. Select the beginning branch number of a range. (These menus originate from program #1530.)

O    If you leave the fields blank, the report includes all branches in your user profile.

O    Branch restrictions apply.

Branch

You may select up to three ranges of branches to limit the report to branches within the ranges. Select the ending branch number of a range. (These menus originate from program #1530.)

O    If you leave the fields blank, the report includes all branches in your user profile.

O    Branch restrictions apply.

Exclude

You may exclude ranges of branches from the report by selecting the ranges and then entering a check mark in the corresponding Exclude box.

Dealer Ranges

Dealer

No

You may select up to three ranges of dealer IDs to limit the report to dealer IDs within the ranges. Select the beginning dealer ID of a range. (These menus originate from program #1537.)

O    If you leave the fields blank, the report includes all dealers in your user profile.

O    Branch restrictions apply.

Dealer

You may select up to three ranges of dealer IDs to limit the report to dealer IDs within the ranges. Select the ending dealer ID of the range. (These menus originate from program #1537.)

O    If you leave the fields blank, the report includes all dealers in your user profile.

O    Branch restrictions apply.

Exclude

No

You may exclude ranges of dealer IDs from the report by selecting the ranges and then entering a check mark in the corresponding Exclude box.

Report Example

The following graphic shows an example of the output of the Fiscal Aging by Contract Report.

Column Descriptions

The following table describes the columns used in the output of the report.

Column

Contract

Contract number.

Dealer Number

Dealer ID.

Balance

Open balance on the contract.

Dynamic Label

Open amount in each company-defined category.

O    The report displays amounts in the following columns:

l    Balance

l    Current

l    Up to 6 additional user-defined columns.

O    If you have defined more categories than the report can display, the report includes the overflow in the final column.

Branch Total

Totals in each column for the selected branch.

Grand Total

Totals in each column for all branches included in the report.
