Overview
Use Miscellaneous Marketing Fields (program #1704) to define and maintain miscellaneous marketing fields. You can attach translations to all miscellaneous marketing fields and their related codes. The various menus that display miscellaneous marketing fields then appear in the user’s language. Most of these fields can be company-defined. However, some are defined by IBS and provide a function or store data other than customer-specific data.
To access this program, select Miscellaneous Marketing Fields (program #1704) from the main menu of SBN.
The Miscellaneous Marketing Fields Window
The following graphic shows Miscellaneous Marketing Fields as the program opens. The upper pane displays previously defined miscellaneous marketing fields.

Zooming into the Sublevel
Miscellaneous Marketing Fields contains two sublevel tabs:
The Marketing Field Validation Data tab — in which you can define codes and translate descriptions associated with a miscellaneous marketing field. The translated descriptions then appear in the user’s language.
The Translations tab — in which you can translate the descriptions of the codes that appear in the main level of this program.
Note: Actions 1704/20-24 control access to the Translations tab and functions.

The following graphic shows the Marketing Field Validation Data tab. The tab displays previously defined codes associated with the selected miscellaneous marketing field.

The Translations Tab
Use the Translations tab to translate the descriptions of the codes that appear in the main level of this program. The descriptions in the main level of this program then appear in the users language.
