Overview
Signal Billing Types (program #1817) enables you to create profiles of signal billing types. Within these profiles, you can define when to send customers letters or bills based on an excessive number of false alarms. A menu of Signal Billing Types appears in the Excess Signal field in the Basics tab of Service/Data Entry (program #559).
To access this program, select Signal Billing Types (program #1817) from the main menu of SBN.

Override Charge |
Enter a check mark in this box to allow a monitoring operator to override charges for false alarms that exceed the maximum allowable. O If this box displays a check mark and a monitoring operator disposes of an excess false alarm, a message appears at the bottom of monitoring that asks if the operator wants to charge the customer for the excess false alarm. |

Letter |
Enter a check mark in this box to allow a monitoring operator to determine if a letter about excess false alarms should be sent to the customer. O If this box displays a check mark and a monitoring operator disposes of an excess false alarm, a message appears at the bottom of monitoring that asks if the operator wants a letter about the excess false alarm to be sent. |

Select a work order type to use for the selected signal billing type. (This menu originates from program #1796.) |

Price List |
Select a price list to use for the selected signal billing type. (This menu originates from program #1533.) |

Item Cd |
Select an item code to use for the selected signal billing type. (This menu originates from program #1535.) |
