CSTA Monitor Service
Overview
The CSTA Monitor Service connects SBN to a phone system (PBX) using the CSTA telephony standard, so that incoming calls to monitored extensions can be matched to terminals in SBN. As calls arrive, are answered, and hang up, the service tracks the caller's phone number and links it to the SBN terminal associated with that extension, making the caller information available on the operator screens.
On a fixed timer the service keeps its connection to the phone system healthy and re-discovers extensions to monitor. It also periodically refreshes its list of SBN terminals and their extensions, so that newly added or changed terminals are picked up without restarting the service.
The service requires a working SBN data-server connection and a reachable phone system; if either connection cannot be established at start-up, the service logs the reason and stops.

Service Properties
Only properties specific to this service are listed here. Common service properties (SBN Server connection, Logging, SMTP) are found here.
Timer (In Seconds)
How often the service runs a maintenance pass. The service waits this many seconds between cycles, then checks that its phone-system connection is healthy and that extensions are being monitored, reconnecting if needed.
CSTA System IP
The network address of the phone system (PBX) the service connects to over CSTA. Set this to the address of the CSTA-capable phone system, for example <pbx-host>.
Extension/Terminal List Refresh Timer (In Minutes)
How often, in minutes, the service refreshes its list of SBN terminals and their extensions. Lower values pick up newly added or changed terminals sooner; higher values reduce how often the list is rebuilt.
Verbose Logging
When enabled, the service writes extra detail to its log, including individual call and extension events. Normally left off to keep the log concise — turn it on only when troubleshooting.
