SBN IVR
SBN IVR
SBN IVR handles SBN's automated outbound voice calls - the interactive voice (IVR) calls placed to a contact as part of an incident.
Overview
SBN IVR watches SBN's IVR incident queue, takes each incident, and has the voice system place the outbound call - for example to ring a contact, play a message, and collect a response. When the call is finished it reports the result back to SBN. It handles outbound calls only.
- Runs: When configured. One per host.
- Required: Only if SBN places automated outbound IVR calls.
- Depends on: NATS, SBN, and the voice/IVR handler that places the call.
Configuration
SBN IVR is configured under the sbnivr namespace.
| Setting | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|
sbnivr.pollingFrequencyInMs | 5000 | How often to poll the IVR queue when there is nothing to do. |
sbnivr.successPauseInMs | 10 | How long to pause after finishing an incident before polling again. |
After changing settings in sbn-media.local.yaml, apply them with ./sbn-media config reload.
