Overview

Use Rental Credit Profile (program #1637) to define the credit ratings in the Credit Profile field menu of the Work Order window, and in Rental Contract Types (program #1638). SBN uses a customer's credit rating to calculate the cost of financing a rental contract.

The Rental Credit Profile Window

The following graphic shows Rental Credit Profile as the program opens.

Field/Column Descriptions

The following table describes the fields and columns in the Rental Credit Profile window.

Field/Column	Description
Code	Code that identifies the credit rating.
Description	Text description of the credit rating.
Risk	Text description of the risk of financing a customer with the credit rating.
Annual Rate	Percentage SBN uses to calculate the annual cost of financing a rental contract with the credit rating.
Monthly Rate	Percentage SBN uses to calculate the monthly cost of financing a rental contract with the credit rating.
Start Date	Date the credit rating profile becomes effective.
End Date	Date the credit rating profile is no longer effective.

Creating a Credit Rating Profile

Use the following steps to create a credit rating profile:

1. Choose New Record.

â€° The fields open for changes.

2. Enter the details of the new credit rating profile.

3. Choose Save to save changes and close.

Changing a Credit Rating Profile

You can change the details of an existing credit rating profile.

Use the following steps to change a credit rating profile:

1. Double-click the profile you want to change, or choose Get Record.

2. Choose Change Record.

â€° The fields open for changes.

3. Change the details as needed.

4. Choose Save.

Deleting a Credit Rating Profile

Use the following steps to delete a credit rating profile:

1. Select the profile you want to delete.

2. Choose Delete Record.

â€° The credit rating profile no longer appears in the list of profiles.
