Auto Action Service
Overview
The Auto Action Service carries out automated responses in SBN without an operator having to act on them. On a fixed timer it asks SBN to process any pending auto actions, then performs the work those actions call for — so routine, rule-driven follow-ups happen on their own as the conditions that trigger them occur.
The service runs continuously, checking for new auto-action work each cycle, and writes its activity to its own log file. It requires a working SBN data-server connection; if that connection cannot be established at start-up, the service logs the reason and stops.

Service Properties
Only properties specific to this service are listed here. Common service properties (SBN Server connection, Logging, SMTP) are found here.
Timer (In Seconds)
How often the service runs an auto-action pass. The service waits this many seconds between cycles, then processes any auto-action work that is waiting.
Run procedure in debug
When enabled, runs the auto-action processing in debug mode, which produces additional diagnostic output in the log. Normally left off — turn it on only when troubleshooting.
Verbose Logging
When enabled, the service writes extra detail to its log. Normally left off to keep the log concise.
