v

a2prio

Use this option to set the alarm priority cutoff used in Alarm Queue Colors (program #1649).

SBN applies the Standard Color to an incident in the Alarm Queue as defined in program #1649 if the incident priority is a lower number than the value of this option.

SBN applies the Priority Color to an incident in the Alarm Queue as defined in program #1649 if the incident priority is a higher number than the value of this option.

+

v

a2qcol0 - a2qcol15

These options are now retired. They have been replaced by Alarm Queue Colors (program #1649).

Taking actions on alarms with priorities greater than the priority defined in option a2prio causes those alarms to appear in the Alarm Queue with the colors defined in options a2qcol0 - a2qcol15. When you define a value for option a2prio, you can designate two colors for each alarm status: one for an alarm priority lower than the priority set in a2prio and one for an alarm priority greater than the priority set in a2prio. These options expand on color options alqcol0 - alqcol15 already in place to indicate alarm status in the Alarm Queue.

v

alatyp

XXXXXXXXXXX

Use this option to generate signal types for positions 1-20.

  1. Position 1: Alarm
  2. Position 2: Restore
  3. Position 3: Battery
  4. Position 4: Cancel
  5. Position 5: Supervisor
  6. Position 6: Bypass
  7. Positions 7-20 Used by various other signal types and should not be changed from the default.

For example, an X in the first position tells SBN to generate an alarm when it receives an alarm signal type. A space in the first position tells SBN not to generate an alarm when it receives an alarm signal type. By setting option alatyp to "X_X_X_XXXXXXXXXXXXXX", SBN generates Alarms for Alarm, Battery, and Supervisor signals, but does not generate alarms for Restore, Cancel, or Bypass signals.

v

albgcol

1

Default Alarm Log Background Color

v

algtyp

XXXXXXXXXXX

Use this option to generate larms or create a log for positions 1-20, but only if that signal is in the Master Queue for the CID..

  1. Position 1: Alarm
  2. Position 2: Restore
  3. Position 3: Battery
  4. Position 4: Cancel
  5. Position 5: Supervisor
  6. Position 6: Bypass
  7. Positions 7-20 Used by various other signal types and should not be changed from the default.

An X in the specific position tells SBN to generate an alarm for that signal type when an alarm of this type, for this CID, appears in the Master Queue. A space tells SBN to only log the event if this type of signal, for this CID, currently appears in the Master Queue.

For example, by setting option alatyp to <<XXXXX_XXXXXXXXXXXXXX>> and option algtyp to << X_X_XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX>>, SBN generates exceptions for Alarm, Restore, Battery, Cancel, and Supervisor. If the queue has a signal, SBN generates another alarm for Alarm, Battery, and Supervisor. The system does not generate another alarm for Restore or Cancel, but rather only creates a log.

SBN looks to option alatyp first. This means if bysetting option alatyp to not generate an alarm for a specific type, SBN never checks option algtyp for this signal type.

v

allact

ALL

Use this option to define the name to use in Action Profiles (program #1502) to provide access to ALL actions.

v

alqcol0 - alqcol15

These options are now retired. They have been replaced by Alarm Queue Colors (program #1649).

Use these sixteen options to define the color of text in the Alarm Queue when an alarm timer expires and the current event on the alarm is TIO.

Define this option with a legal Windows color name (e.g., Red, Black, Maroon).

  1. If you leave this option blank or use an illegal color name, SBN will use the default colors.
  2. If you define the text color the same as the background color, SBN will change the background color in the Alarm Queue so that you may see all lines of text.
  3. The Alarm Timer background job must be running to view these additional colors.
  4. IBS strongly recommends that you do not experiment or change the color of text in the Alarm Queue unless absolutely necessary.
